Why is this happening?

Our network supplier, Telstra, is undergoing upgrades to improve your voicemail service.

Here is a list of the benefits that you will be able to enjoy after the upgrade

  • You’ll now be able to hold unplayed messages up to 14 days (increase of 4 days)
  • Increase capacity by holding up to 40 messages (increase of 20 messages)
  • You’ll be able to keep saved messages indefinitely (instead of being deleted after 10 days)

 

When will this happening?

Upgrades to the voicemail service will occur on September 23rd, 2020.

You will receive an SMS the night before letting you know that this will be happening and another SMS the day after letting you know of the successful migration.

Should there be any changes, we will inform you via email the next day on next steps.

 

What does it mean for me?

For now, you won’t need to do anything until your voicemail service has been migrated.

Once this has happened, you’ll need to setup a new PIN and greeting.

 

How do I setup my new voicemail greeting?

After you’ve received your success SMS notification, simply dial 101 as normal and follow the prompts to complete your setup.

Now you’ll be able to enjoy all the increased benefits.

Not to worry, as your old voicemail messages can still be manually saved.


You’ll be able to access your old messages for up to 8 weeks and this can be done by calling 0418 707 105. If you wish to save any of these messages, simply use another recording device (phone, tablet etc) to record it.
