What is a part month (pro rata) charge?

You may receive a pro rata charge, in addition to your first monthly recurring charge, when you add a new service to an existing account. Because we align the billing date of your new service, it might mean that you only have a few days that we need to bill you for, before your usual billing cycle date.

On your usual billing cycle date you will be charged for the full months fee for all of your services and a pro rata charge for the number of days your new service was active before this date. The pro rata charge is calculated based on the number of days remaining in your existing account billing cycle. The pro rata will thereby align the billing day of your new service with the billing day of your existing account.

Going forward, you will receive a single bill for all your services and they will be billed on the same day of the month.
